Service Overview

PubEasy, the Global Publishing e-Marketplace, represents the new standard in e-commerce for the global bookselling industry.  Thousands of booksellers from over 110 countries spanning North America, Europe and Asia are using PubEasy to facilitate access to order placement, order tracking, price, title and availability data over the internet with particular publishers, distributors and wholesalers, more quickly and cost-effectively.  Booksellers with a PubEasy password can directly access any participating affiliate web site on the PubEasy network.  The service is available via the internet twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The PubEasy e-Marketplace of web sites share common messaging and interface standards which make it easy for booksellers to connect with suppliers online.  They can inquire about title, price and availability and order status from participating publishers, distributors and wholesalers, known as Affiliates.

Personal Princing and Order Enquiry Now Available at NBN International on PubEasy!

PubEasy is pleased to announce that booksellers may now view personal pricing information and perform full order enquiry for NBN International on both PubEasy UK Central and at the direct NBN International PubEasy web site.

Title, price & availability information - now updated hourly!

Title price & availability information is now updated hourly throughout the day and this will benefit both booksellers and publishers.

Personal Pricing

Whilst browsing a list of title search results you will notice that hte status codes (such as 'available' or 'reprinting') in the 'Availability' column are hyperlinked (underllined in blue). Clicking these new links will display the price and base discount on your invoicing currency.

If you do not see a hyperlinked availablility code it is likely that NBN International needs to link your PubEasy login to your trade account number (see below).

Order Enquiry

You can now access your trade account and enquirie on any order (not just those placed through PubEasy) via the Check order status menu option. This provides access to both orders that have been fulfilled as well as those outstanding (back orders or dues).

If you can't access these functions, please contact NBN International directly as cservs@nbninternational.com with your PubEasy PIN number and trade account number and ask them to link the two.  This will activate personal pricing, ordering and order enquiry.

What is PubEasy?
It is a web-based service that enables booksellers to check price and availability, place orders and track orders.  It is available 24 x 7.

I'm a bookseller. How do I register for PubEasy?
Go to www.pubeasy.com, click on the 'Register' link on the left-hand side in the black box and fill in the electronic form.  Your application is reviewed by the PubEasy Support team and your login will be emailed back to you.  This normally takes a couple of days.

How do I access PubEasy?
Go to www.pubeasy.com and login using your PIN and password.

How much does it cost?
PubEasy is provided by publishers to enable it to be free of charge for booksellers

Will my normal discount apply to orders placed using PubEasy?
Yes, when you place orders, your existing trading terms are automatically applied. This is because your account is linked to your PubEasy PIN.

What happens if I've registered but I don't know or can't remember my login?
Go to www.pubeasy.com and click the 'Forgotten Your PIN/Password?' link underneath the login box. If you still have problems please email help@pubeasy.com or uksupport@pubeasy.com and they will check and confirm back by email. A common problem here is that the customer is entering a letter o instead of a zero in the PIN field.

What if I have an account with an affiliate but can't place orders on PubEasy?
This is likely to be because your account is not correctly linked to your PubEasy PIN. Contact the affiliate customer services and quote your account number and PubEasy PIN and ask them to link them together. Note that if a customer's trade account isn't linked the Order menu will not display.

I'm not sure how PubEasy works - can someone give me a demo?
